how do you guys make it so that your fill nipples are facing down insted of sticking out on the right side like normal?

is it a modification or just a simple thing?

i have a maxflow and i hate having that fill nipple jabbing my wrist constantly

every tank is a littile different
or switch it wih one of the burst disks

no all of the maxflows are set up the same stock from the factory with the fill nipple on the left side and the gauge on the rite.

the way many of the naughty dogs have their guns set up is the gauge on the top facing the player and the fill nipple facing tword the ground so it doesnt jab into their wrists.

i dont know how they do it, it may just be a simple mod but i was wondering if anyone knew how to do it for sure.

You just loosen the set screws that hold it in place, turn, and tighten them back up. Be careful because I'm sure bad things could happen if you messed it up.

yeah im not a beginner, i know my post may make it look that way. i was just curious if there was any special way they did it. i thought about loosening the set screws and turning it but im afraid it may leak if i do that.

i posted in here because i am hoping on of the dogs can let me know how its done and or some pictures.

usually an oring or such in the asa, meaning less threads needed = different possition of the nipple

yeah its a maxflow though so the fill nipple is in one set position regardless.

if anyone has a pic of one of their ND maxflows close up it would be worth 1000 words haha

the new ones do not rotate like the older ones, thats how they did it they had the older ones that you could move the posistion by twisting the thing.

Nope, no o-rings, no mods, no nothing...just back out the two set screws with a small allen, twist the nipple, set the screws and your all set.

THE NEW ONES U TURN TO THE LEFT INTIL THE GAGE IS ON TOP.
THE OLD ONES U TURN AN 8TH OF A TURN TO THE RIGHT SO THE GAGE IS GOING TO BE ANGELED SOUTH EAST
