First day on the field with the new Marq... 2 rounds of woodsball and a dozen or so rounds of speedball... sporting the new Closer EXP the new Prophecy and the CP 48/45 my 10yo was commanding some curious looks.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting my own Marq now... this gun rocks and my son was holding his own for the most part. He's not experienced by any stretch but I noticed a huge boost in confidence while he was playing... no chops, no problems... just awesome.

I would recommend this to anyone just starting if the coin wasn't an issue.

You want to hear something really insane? He's not allowed to take the gun out of semi until he masters the trigger...

why not? Not everyone lives on dimes and nickels... And he might even care even more then me or you and become pro someday because his dad was nice enough to get the best and motivate him to be the best.

Pics pls?

Same kid... (John)... I just finished getting him an APPA number. We'll be back out at the field in an hour or so. Pictures to follow.

I recommend buying the LP tank over the HP tank. The closer runs alot smoother and more efficient on an LP tank. Tech recommended.

Good to hear everything is working out though.

Wouldn't it be better said that the Torpedo reg runs better on an LP tank? It's really only the HPR that matters when considering LP vs. HP tank. If one puts on a reg that works better with an HP tank, then shouldn't that be the way to go, or am I missing something?

I ask, as I've just purchased a used Marq 7 (and I'm already in love with the 4C eye system), but it has an Empire inline on it. I expect to be putting on a Gladiator soon, as well as getting a new tank. I just want to make sure I'm weighing all the facts.

the HP tank puts more stress on the regs than the LP Tank would done.

I understand completely what you're saying, but why not every gun use lp?
