Blockbuster or borders Job

I am looking to get a job at blockbuster or Borders, part time, just like cashier or shelving or whatever. I am only 15 turning 16 in march though. Am I old enough to be hired at these places?

Just scoped out Barnes & Noble's job application and it seems you must be at least 16 to work there.

Border's website was being lame so I couldn't get any specific information for you but I would imagine it is the same minimum age.

Edit: Blockbuster's website requires a log in to view their job info but again I would assume it is at least 16. It's something to do with the number of hours and times until which you can work to. Check your working papers and see.

****. So I suppose I would have to wait until I turn 16 to apply, or would the places be lienent with the age requirement? I don't have much experience with working; the only job I've had is as a volunteer at my local library.

Volunteer work is still experience, so don't cut that short! I would imagine that these are Corporate rules and the franchises don't have much wiggle room in regard to age.

Blockbuster is 18 where I am. And they are really focused on sales now which is something you probably don't want to do at 15. I'd go manual labor work at your age. You'll make more anyways.

1st LOL at you thinking you can just go get a job somewhere because you want one....does not work like that, especially not right now

2nd you have to be 18 to work at blockbuster......im 17 yeah it sucks

3rd Go apply at chick-fil-a they hire at 14......but nobody likes the 14-15 year olds, they are piss *** annoying and immature...but it is a job
