I just wanted to say that I am glad to see you guys out there doing work!
When I took a look at the roster, I noticed a few familiar names. I've watched some of you play on Team Strange, which is the first team that inspired me to play competitively as I watched them scrimmage Jax Warriors at Old River Paintball many years ago. The weasel call sure brings back memories... and the new team is well fitted and deserving of its placement in the NXL. The first team in my opinion to really make a name for Florida's paintballers. Keep up the good work guys!

Those Old River practices were pure magic. That was a special time to be involved in paintball for sure. It was an honor just to play there on the same day as those guys. I learned a ton about the game that still sticks with me.

Easiest way to cap this would be to give you guys the closest details to this. Considering i have played on both teams during their prime, id say i am quite qualified.
I played with rage the year we won boston, and placed high else where.
And the past year on Tampa, and we won both series.
As far as marijuana being in the sport of paintball, there is no drug test for pro athletes so of course its going to be there. Ive been on teams where people have played "high" and sober, and from playing side by side these people i can personally say they all played better sober. I will not take anything from a person who smokes marijuana, how ever i just hope that no one thinks it takes smoking to go pro, nor to peer pressure anyone into doing so. Rage and Damage, are great teams! The players are like brothers to me, and the support/coaches/managers are all great people. Every person in these organizations were always the people to have your back, no matter the situation.
As far as the original supporters post, I appreciate it buddy! And yes damage will remain a team to fear, considering we have the youngest team in professional paintball right now. And the heart of our players are tremendous!

here is a person that is a role model for honesty, helpfulness, niceness, hard work, devotion:
I have seen TBD develop over the last few years and truly some of the credit for their success has never been mentioned. When I reveil that Bill the guy who with such stamina and work ethic makes it all happen in the pit on every event I believe all the players on TBD will acknowledge that fact. The unsung heros of winning teams are those unnoticed people who keep he pods fresh and full, wipe you guys off from hits and clean your mask, pit personel should have more recognition in MHO. Bill is in my opinon the pro of pit personel.
Bill I will see you at scrimmage

From Houston and of course a fan of the Heat, but Tampa Bay is hella fun to watch and cheer for. Play style, players, and markers.....gotta love DYE (not a luxe fan) are part of what makes them an excellent team. I consider myself lucky to have 2 favorite teams and will continue to be a fan (SHHH no one in Houston needs to know). Thanks for a great playing season and best of luck in 2013.

Ok, just read this thread and had to interject. First off, yeah Rage was a bunch of burners but so F***in what. I used to smoke and more and growing up in FL plus all the big pill pushin. I'm sure TBD has dealt with its fair share of it. What these guys do in their personal life is none of our business. At the end of the day they get out there and they play ball great ball at that. Some of the best players in the league smoke (know for a fact Ollie Lang does). Haven't you been to any parties at cup? I'm 23 and used to do more then I wanna admit and have been in FL since leaving Los Angeles in 1997. My dad smokes for Christ sake and guess what if it doesn't get in the way of their responsibilities and obligations who cares? Cause I certainly don't. Anyways, TBD is a great team with a great coaching staff. Who don't leave any unturned stones on the field, they play with heart and a lot of it.
In closing I do miss my boys on Rage. It's nice to have TBD. They play great paintball even if they're smoking meth I'm proud to say I'm a Floridian whose got a great pro team.
