It never was supposed to be for sale, it was just a rumor that a 12yr old spread around that everyone believed.

But i had fun at the event, Girls, paintball, Beer, and great weather, who could ask for anything more?

the event was really fun. only complaint i had was the lack of water that was provided to players. I remember people having to use pods to drink water because NPPL ran out of cups...not to mention they were out of water for atleast 30-45 minutes one time.

Scheduling sucked for D3. We had 2-4 hours between our games on saturday. But somehow we managed to get 5 games in within a few hours friday.

Spyder cup really needs to figure out how to make games run faster. They were almost 1.5-2 hours behind...which is ridiculous. 3 man should not be played on a 7man field.

all in all, the event was fun. there is work that is needed to be done to make NPPL better tho.

I wasnt basing it on the rumor, I was basing it on smart marketing! think about how many copies they would have sold!

Wow... you didn't even play and you made a thread saying how ****ty the event was, only to say that it was just dull and not as good as last year. No **** last year's event was better dude, our economy didn't tank last year. I for one think that you FAIL. This event was pretty awesome. What the event lacked this year (the number of vendors & free stuff) was made up for by the amount of quality stuff that was released/unveiled by the vendors there.

edit: the reffing (at least on the eclipse 5-man field) was awesome too.

im not gonna lie SD was very disapointing.

you could tell the NPPL knew they were gonna have a terrible turnout (lack of giant grandstands)...or any small bleachers for that matter

it wasnt definitely wasnt worth going both days (unless you were playing)

it seemed like the only people who went to the event were players + family

It was hot, no shade, no seats, no water, the port o potties were filled to the top + the heat = gas chamber.

you could see every vendor in about 2 minutes

and they didnt have anythng that i was remotely impressed with except the rotor which i give a huge

the virtual army humvee adventure sucked because the guns didnt react with the screen at all, thus meaning you couldnt kill anybody and the IED's kept blowing out my ears.

there were more recruiting stations than paintball vendors

the pump division was all messed up because teams were playing semi and pump divisions so i got more bi's for 3 out of 7 games,so we did more sitting than playing.

but the hotel i stayed in was nice and had a breakfast bar

hotel breakfast > SD event

that sums it up for me

10 dollar parking

The parking was free if you got there early but after 9 you have to pay $10.00 for parking and no ins or outs but I bribed the parking attendant with a McDonald cheeseburger and did not have to pay the 10 for parking. Seriously no joke.

I had fun...But yeah I was expecting more booths. And the lighting sucked in the center court for night, and I felt really bad for CC Paintball and Firstcall and etc. Because they lost money this event since there were so few people. But I did get a sweet Dye jersey dirt cheap. And I saw some good games too

Those Rockstar girls were SERIOUS edited. "sorry no more rockstars" oh yeah for real? WHY AM I LOOKING THROUGH THE DOOR OF THE VAN AND SEE PILES OF ROCKSTARS!!! Rockstar I wish BAWLS would come back.

Not a lot of vendors? I think it was the lay out of the whole thing that made it look that way. Also, usually the nppl puts the vendors in one narrow strip so the walk ways are packed with people so it looks like there's a lot more people there. Saw every vendor in 2 minutes? what were you looking for? I saw most of the same vendors from last year. Why was the grandstand so small??? maybe because the NPPL knew that the $10-$15 tickets would turn people away. Kind of dumb right NPPL? Especially Not giving TEAMS THAT PAID any parking passes. TWO FOR EACH DAY FROM LAST YEAR WAS TOO MUCH? Pacific paintball start hiring some brains to your company! Pacific Paintball I thank you for giving us a 2 1/2 hour break inbetween games, WHICH WE REALLY DIDN"T NEED. NPPL didn't give our team any prize for 3rd place in 5man in which they listed on their info. For the most part I had my good games so I'm satisfied. Overall this even gets an 8.5

The only other team that had players playing in semi division was the Hitmen, and even then they only played 1 man down. You must have been in the division that had the 2 teams that didn't show up, which would be the only reason you would have had "bi's"

I liked the event. there's no way you could see all the vendors unless you were running like a bat out of hell and not even entering any of the booths.
I do agree that the games that were spread so far apart did kind of suck. My friends and family got so fed up with waiting they only watched like 2 of my 8 games on saturday
Everybody was nice. The spyder chicks were so hot!!!
My brother got a used signed pro jersey off a raffle.
the demo booth for the paintball game was always packed and looked really really fun! All the techs were great and friendly.
I'd say the one thing that sucked was incredibly high prices for food. It would have been nice to give players a discount.
All the refs were great except for one specific ref that played favoritism/lazy that cost us the finals.
