This is a club sport so we don't do tryouts. Anyone is eligible. However, we do vote on the players that go to the NCPA events so someone who shows dedication and talent will have a higher chance to attend those. For local tournaments, it's usually whoever wants to go, can go.

We look forward to having you.

Tator, I haven't talked to anyone on the team about it. I wouldn't count us in though.

Sean, thanks for posting up. Would you mind posting the link your thread?

What you see is kinda what you get. The netting used is 300 by 20 from Alpha Sports that was about 700 bucks. They do offer flame resistant netting which I recommend and make sure to get one with gourmets. Sand bags work great to hold down the net.

Pulley's are spaced roughly 12 feet apart. When we roll up the net we fold into 3rds and then fold it up like an enrecordedian (sp??!). I'll get detail pictures of us setting it up whenever we have our next practice, we are currently on Thanksgiving break.

Shoot me a PM with any questions.

I think the only way to slide on a basketball court would be for all of us to wear vinyl from head to toe (which would be awesome). Our paintball pants, however, would probably stop us after about 3 inches of sliding lol

You get bad knees quickly playing on the floor. We've already torn the crap outta the gym floor.

Our school would be pissed. We'd probably have to implement a tennis-shoe-no-slide rule. Do the Reballs hurt the floor?

No. They don't hurt anything at 235 fps.

At 300 fps its an issue and it hurts a lot.

Check your PMs Dan wrote you a long one.

Also paintball pants burn up like nothing. So invest on some old Dye hybirds mine hold up great on the gym floor.

Or if you want to be super agg, sweat pants.

EDIT We also thought about getting carpet and/or used astro turf if you guys have a smaller playing area this might be a real possibility.

Meeting this weekend everyone. Sunday at 6pm in the Meramec/Gasconade room. Be there or be square.

Also, let me know if you're interested in the SBU invite or the Ice Man (this Sat and Sun, respectively)

Practice was sweet last night. Two on twos in the gym were a lot better than running drills all night.

Hopefully we'll get pics next time.
