Hot. I've been looking for a nice new sniper. I havn't been able to find one I like... that is in my price range. Haha. I've been playing pump for the past 2 years but I just started shooting snipers about 2 months ago. I've always been a phantom fan. Just bought a SS-25 locally, however. I like it. Just bought 10 winchester pocket hoppers so I'm set for a while. My old one broke last weekend, a paintball went right through it. Only bad thing about the winchesters is the lids. I put dye lock lids on 5 of them. Making some "speedfeeds" out of foam for the others. It is pretty tricky using foam because it isn't very sturdy so making sure no balls fall out is quite a challenge.

Haha, that's too involved for me. I just use an old Revy and call it a day. I use the same Revy hopper for my pump, RT and cockers.

I love the small setup. I am used to my SC phantom so when I started playing OC I couldn't stand using a standard sized hopper. Too big (even though in reality it isn't) and I never shot more than 50-75 balls a game so the extra space was worthless.

Right now this is my main with my backup.

This phantom is the lightest I have ever shot. I love it. It was one of my first but don't think I will get rid of it for quite some time.

We'll need better pics.

My first marker was a Phantom back when they didn't come with removable barrels and long before they made a stock class version. They are great guns and I've owned at least three of them since, but I prefer the sniper style these days. I've never owned a CCM gun though. They are really nice but I just can't justify the cost. You are making me want another nice WGP body to turn into a Sniper though. My superbolt is fun and works great but I'd like something more cool.

slap on one of those full ccm pump + auto-trigger kits on that superbolt. and if you can't stand the bolt, sanchez machine makes a delrin bolt for it, no mods needed. BAM you almost got a full CCM gun for half the cost.

EDIT: if you don't want to be tempted, don't visit the mcarterbrown or custom cockers forums. you'll just get super tempted. i speak from experience lol

CCM didn't make a minicocker pump kit back when I first got the Superbolt. It has a white wolf kit that is really smooth though. It took some work, but it is a really nice pump gun that was pretty cheap.

I do visit other forums, I just prefer this one.

Nick!

Your Merlin?! You sold it fair and square buddy!

It's a fine piece of equipment, solid. I haven't changed anything on it since I bought it from you either. I keep telling myself I want to alter a couple components but its largely worked just fine every time I gas it up.

I'm kicking myself for selling it. It was a fine piece of equipment. Let me know if you ever want to unload it.

I'll keep it in mind and make sure you get offered it first but I hope to hold onto it. I remember hanging out with you guys and being really impressed the first time I handled the rounded merlin.

There are still some out there too. I would actually prefer a gloss black so if you ever end up with one I might be convinced to trade.........

Hope all is well over there.

Would you settle for a flat black one? I could liberate my dad's...

How about when the cops got called on you guys at SkyBall. That was an interesting night.

What happened to Joe and Tim?

Hah, that was quite a night, with me coming out of the elevator right as the SWAT was ready to breech the hotel room's door with shotguns out.

Joe and Jon are off doing other non paintball stuff as far as we can tell. Tim just got married a while back!

Yea, I saw SWAT and was like WTF, mate? Then I found out they were there for you guys.

I remember the first time I had Chinese food was out in Piqua after we played at that rec ball field.

I knew Jon got out of here a while back, but hadn't heard anything about Joe or Tim.

Heheheheh. I will never forget the sight of that stainless steel shotgun. Quite the surprise.

Joe, Tim, another good friend and myself had lunch over the last christmas holiday.

Tim graduated OSU, married a couple summers ago to a girl he met at school and they're raising their first kid. They seem to be doing pretty well, living the family life.

I saw Jon at a wedding a few years ago. I don't know what all he's up to, I don't really stay in touch with the guy. He did come out of the closet though, so more power to him.

I believe Joe is working in/around the Columbus area. That may have changed by now though....

As for the merlin, I could go for it, but not if your dad has to ask me where I got the marker the next time I see him. hehe.

I'll just tell him he sold it to someone, I'm sure he wouldn't put 2 and 2 together.

Are you coming out this way for any events? If so, I may have to swing out that way.
