"Sweet 7" 2009 - Season 4 - Event #1 - January 31st.

Registration will be open next week. We are launching season 4 this year. So far we have not had to cancel any Sweet 7 events since it's inception in 2006. At times we just squeaked by with the minimum number of required teams but we still made it. I hope we can continue to keep the 7 man format alive.

This season we will once again limit the registration/air fee to $15 per player and barring any paint price increases we will offer paint at $45, $50 and $55.

7 trophies or medallions, depending on the number of teams registered, will be awarded to the first three places in both the rookie and open divisions.

The "Sweet 7" Season Championship Cup will be awarded at the season finale (in October) for the top teams in the rookie and open divisions.

Happy New Year everyone.

curious if folks are going to be doing the 7 man format or hitting up the xball/5man format. I notice that you're offering both. Would like to guage interests of teams on which they are intending to do. Teams, please comment.

Check out the WCPPL league thread in the SoCal forum. Mike Hinman ( Aftermath ) is running the league. Should be along the lines of XPSL. Prices look reasonable and APPA id cards are only $20.

Yeah, it should be pretty fun. I was scared we were gonna have to pay $100 a case if we wanted to play 7man up in B.C.!!!

Canadian exchange rate is about $1.20... so that would make it $80 a case. But that's still pretty spendy. I heard the BCCPL tourneys are a good time though.
