Wait, let me get this straight. You are charging people to tryout for your team?

What do you think? Ofcourse the field owners will charge for people to tryout. They have to make money some how. Nothing in Paintball is free. Especially if you are a "NOBODY". Even the pros have to spend tons of money to play for their sponsored team.

If you find out a place where you can tryout and not pay let me know so I can let everybody know where it's at.

This guys cracks me up every time he makes his comments.

Fifty dollars is a lot to pay just to tryout for a team. Being able to bring your own paint is key. Being forced to shoot a certain type of paint is ridiculous. Plus there are many other reputable teams in this state that do not charge nearly that much for field fee and air, plus a 30 dollar case of whitebox(wholesale even less) just to try out for their team. Think about that very generous man who lives a little south of Birmingham. Does he charge you 50 dollars to practice with his team? Give me a break.

My point is FPO fields suck(unless it is indoor, in that case I understand). What's the point of playing at a field that charges 48 bucks a case for Zap paint? What if my gun doesn't like your fields choice of paint? Fields don't make any money regardless, For the most part only from large church groups which use field gear anyway, thus field paint. Just charge at 15 dollar BYOP fee and opens the field up to a lot more people.

Do we really have to turn this into a big fuss over something that really only matters to those who are coming?

Those who understand it do. Those who don't don't. If you are uninterested in the tryouts...fine. Move on to your next meaningless argument. Please.

This just in, tryouts will be free, but moved to ScottQ's feild. It is a nice level feild, where the grass cuts itself, the air compressors are free, so no air fee. He has a beautiful up to date airball feild, which he paid $8,000 dollars out of pocket for and cleans himself at no charge to you.
Scott Q is a truely great man and an asset to our sport, thanks.
I hope I have made my point.

All of you should be playing ACES 3 man at PBQ that day. That's the REAL tryout for a team. How do they do in a tourney.
