2012 Reflex Rail bolt issue

Anyone else having issues of the bolt unscrewing every time they shoot the gun or know any fixes to this issue.

someone will probably suggest locktite but i would not do that, unless you plan on never maintaining the bolt again. i have never heard of that happening, make sure the oring on it is good so you can get a good tight twist on the allen key w/o damaging anything.

Is it the can unscrewing from the top hat, or top hat unscrewing from the back cap inside the gun or is it the entire thing unscrewing from the back?

If the entire bolt assembly is coming undone from the back you could try putting a 020 oring onto the cap and tighten it firmly with and allen wrench....

I've shot about 15 cases through mine i have never noticed the bolt unscrewing. Make sure when you put the can/ bolt back together it is snug and no GREASE on the threads.

I've had a similar issue ('12 PGA reflex). It took me a while to figure out the leak was because the back cap (and the whole assembly) was unscrewing. It takes about 500 rounds (1 bag) for the leak to start.

I had a tech at the Dye booth at PSP Chicago look at it. He said he replaced the back o-rings. I finally got a chance to use it last Thursday. And right at the end of my first bag it started leaking again.

I got the gun cleaned and lubed again. This time I've taken a little extra care and made sure there was no lube on the back cap and body threads.

I guess I'll find out if it leaks/backs out next time I use it.

The next step is to start cranking down real hard when I tighten the back cap.

Now I have a friend with a '12 reflex that doesn't have this problem ????

Having the same issue here. The rear end of the firing can keeps unscrewing inside the marker after roughly ~500 shots. I am not talking about the rear cap that you need a large allen key to unscrew to remove the bolt assembly from the marker. I'm talking where the rear section of the bolt assembly (containing the back cap and large rectangular air ports) screws onto the front firing can (which surrounds the front of the bolt itself). I've removed and re-screwed it several times, taking special care to ensure it was free of lube and tight as heck. ~500 rounds later, the marker refuse to cycle. Same problem.
