SLG 09 questions

I have a few questions regarding the above that I have not been able to find:
-what is the purpose of the "self lubricating bolt" when you still need to lube it?
-what would you lube it with (dow33/slick honey?)
-can they shoot reballs at 220 fps properly?
-can someone take a pic of the bottom of the gun so that I can see how the asa mounts to the gun (straight fix right into the gripframe w/ a screw?)
-because the gun is sear tripped and the noid only trips the sear, is it safe to leave the gun aired up for a long period without damaging the noid?
thanks
Jonathan

This refers only to the bolt tip that is supposed to be made out of derlin which is self lubing material.

Dye slick lube or DOW33
-can they shoot reballs at 220 fps properly?
I believe that's still a issue whit the current SLG design

ASA is held by an integrated rail and hex screw on the side of the grip frame that applies pressure to the ASA as you tighten it
-because the gun is sear tripped and the noid only trips the sear, is it safe to leave the gun aired up for a long period without damaging the noid?
The noid will not be affected in any way as it will not hold any pressure/force
thanks
Jonathan

Regarding the ASA, if you plan on replacing it you should seriously consider getting an on/off ASA compatible with dove tail mounts. If you need to use a direct mount, you'll have to do some minor modifications. I described them a little bit in my review here: http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2881767

It remains to be seen how well it holds up over time.

if it's just held down by the 10-32 button head screws, then you just need longer ones, but too long to where it hits the insides of the frame.

boblong direct mounts have special screws.

Yesterday i went to go play at a reball field with my 08 and it worked well the only problem i had when shooting the bolt would get stuck. But then you push the back button and it would get cocked again.

Correct. The "minor modification" I alluded to could be as simple as purchasing the correct length screws of a similar type, depending on the ASA. The BL ASA does use special screws as you've pointed out. My point was that unless you have your heart set on a particular on/off ASA (or already own one), you might want to purchase a dove tail mount style so you wouldn't have to change anything.

i use a separate rail screwed right under the frame's rail. i cant stand push down/ screw/bearings type rails. i only use the expanding type.
