Priceline Negotiator!

Not sure how many people on here have used them. I was a bit skeptical since you cannot cancel your booking once it is made, but I tried it out. I typed in $81 for a 4 STAR in the French Quarter of New Orleans. I didn't expect it to accept my offer, but after entering my credit card and about 2 minutes of the website blinking its little lights, I was accepted for the Marriot in New Orleans. Pretty upscale hotel 2 streets from Bourbon! $81!! Taxes are ****ty $20, but for $101 a night at the Marriot, it is still a damn good deal.

What is the best hotel deal you've gotten through Priceline Name Your Price?

price line, hotwire, travelocity etc have always been great for me

i know people who book flights directly with the company (delta,us,nwa, etc) and pay out the *** and i find flights for 1/2 the price on travelocity

hotwire is EXCELLENT for car rentals they're usually the cheapest by far

the priceline negotiator is great for hotels

Really? Every time i have looked at a flgight through those sites its always the same price as going through contienental but then you add their charge and it ends up being more.

You have to look at different sites for different airlines, I used to use hotwire where i used to live and it was the cheapest. Now that I moved and northwestern flys out of local airport orbitz has better deals with nw

it's the same as it's always been, now I can just comparison shop from my computer at home. I still have to go to 5-6 different sites to make sure I'm getting the best deal.
