It will have some issues at the higher PSI it's supposed to be set at. I run mine at 200psi and usually get about 250-270fps(not 300 but better than my gun constantly leaking)
As for your gun, well it could have just been that your paint didn't agree with it. My friend and I both got bad cases of some Hydro the field was loaded on like everyone else there and some people were pretty dead on and others had massive accuracy issues. My friend has pretty decent shooting on his Shocker & Ion and I'd have ok to horriable shots from my Epiphany
Edit- on a side note to the beginning of my statement, Some people will work just fine at 260 with the proper firing can insert & Dwell set-up but if your gun starts to act up turn it down a little bit.

I know this thread is going off topic with this, but I am wondering how you can set your operating pressure below 200 and still obtain 300fps [or close to it]?
I operate my Epi at about 250-260 and while I did have issues with the stock hoses that came with it, I contribute that to operating it at those high pressures while playing in VERY hot conditions. I should have been using one of the inserts like the manual states and lower the pressure a little bit [but it still would have been above 200psi].
I ask this not to challenge anyone, I am actually very interested in this and wonder what settings would need to be set to obtain this with keeping a high velocity while not lowering my BPS to something really slow.
So is it possible to have 290-300FPS while keeping around 13 BPS with limiting the operation pressure so low?
I found that when I went from the stock Epi freak insert to a MAJOR underboring the accuracy improved a lot... I, and my team, spent a lot of time with looking at paint to bore matching and I think we all have come to the conclusion that underboring is the way to go...
Right now I am using a .682 Freak insert and went through a case of paint last sunday. I would say I had one barrel break, but it was worth it for the improved accuracy.
