When i gassed up my XTS for the first time in a while (I much rather my autococker ) i noticed a leak down the barrel. I figure that it a blown cup seal or something. So for getting to the cup seal, what do i do?

Before going out and buying a new cup seal, try oiling it.... you can open the gun and oil it... or put about 10 drops of oil down the ASA adaptor.... If it still leaks after that, call Sheridan and get the part replaced.

The o-rings on the valve assembly have a tendacy to leak.
We use 24 of the XTSs for field rentals and that is pretty much the only problem we have with them.
We have started using regular bauna-n O-rings for the valve and have not had any problems with them since then.

Field strip the marker.
After you have the plastic side cover off and have removed the bolt from the front and the striker from the back, remove the allen screw on the top of the marker.
When this is out, push the valve assembly out the back of the marker.
I use a wooden dowel pin so I don't scratch anything on the inside.
Remove and replace the two big o-rings on the assembly, lube them with oil and replace the valve assembly.
Put the rest of the marker back together and you should be ready to go.

we also use them as rentals and have found that oil is not enough to keep them from leaking.. try some white lithum grease on all parts in the valve. it wont wear off with general use like the thinner oil will.

mine leaked the after my first day of spray painting other players.. but them i lubed the gun and it stopped. might not be your case.but these guns do like grease..

next time you go near a hard ware store look for engine assembly lube.. it has no petroleum. and is lithium based.. designed to reduce initial dry starting of a NEW motor. to make sure the meta on metal conact doesnt harm anything..
and it is thick.

good luck..
