my review

i got my hands on a mask today and figured id try it out. what i came to find is that it is not very comfortable. to protect my chin and ears i had to pull it down way to far. this cased it to lay very tight on my nose making it almost impossible to breath out of my nose which i like to. also the mask i tried had to be modded with soft ears attatched to the hard ones to add protection to the ears. The mask was also very hard which im not a big fan of, and seemed to have little ventalation for breathing. all in all i give it a 4/10, this is just my honest opinion about it and i wish luck to the company

If you feel okay about a little minor mutilation, use a knife or scissors to cut a bit out of the foam where your nose sits. I too found it FAR too tight around the nose, so I cit a bit of foam out, and wow... what a difference, so much more comfy around the nose. And you're not mutilating the mask itself since the foam is removable/replaceable.

Everyone's face/head/nose is very different. It is difficult to make one mask to fit everyone's face. If you like the mask and need to cut the foam a bit to make it fit better, I don't see the harm in that.

the big issue has to do with the fact that its a SOLID mask... so it doesnt GIVE at all...

something like the I3pro's, grillz, proflexes, profilers... i dont see many (if any) threads/reviews about people cutting into the foam to make it fit better.

At the 4 fields i've been to in the last 4 days, i've let many MANY people try my save phace mask... and so far there has not been 1 positive review overall... it all ends up being the same thing...

"the graphics on that look sick!"
*tries on mask*
"you need to wear it lower, your ears are sticking out and so is your chin"
"oh, ok..."
*moves mask lower*
"now it feels like crap, i cant breathe and it hurts my head"
"Wear it however you feel comfy, and go play a game with it, let me know how it is"
*plays a game*
"dude... never again, this crap fogged and hurt my head to wear"

its pointless, i have never seen any other company's mask have to be cut or altered to fit. not only that but the mask i used the only reason i wore it was because it had soft ears modded to it, with out that the hard plastic would be rubbing up on your ear which would piss me off and id think anyone else. this company has a lot to change in the mask for the next batch for me to buy one

We are the first to tell anyone that our mask is not for everyone. Everyone's head, nose and face is a different size and shape as is everyone's body chemistry. We have alot of very happy and satisfied users that enjoy wearing our masks - you can read their experiences at http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2674750

Our mask does not work for 100% of the people out there. We designed it to fit 96% of the world's population. A larger mask version is in the works so that we can accommodate closer to 98-99% of the world's population. Stay tuned for more information on that in late 2009.

If you like the graphics, please do give the mask a try yourself - you might just fall into that 96 percentile.

Not to flame or anything. But I've never seen or heard of anybody who's face doesn't fit in an empire/jt/dye mask. So maybe the problem is on your end?

You mean the larger version will fit around 55% of the worlds population cause now its fitting like 35%

seems like you think that your ears hanging out like this = a good fit?

It's already been established that several mask brands don't always fit perfectly. All your doing is "throwing rocks"....

the second picture is a MODDED mask... it was INTENTIONALLY CUT....

the first picture, he is wearing the strap abnormally high, plus the fact that they are cut softears to make them smaller...

so, its not throwing rocks... its pointing out obvious flaws with a PRODUCT...

One time somebody said that people will wear it the way is most comfortable irregardless of what is "right". That statement was then refuted.

this is a GREAT way to show the mask and how it looks on someone compared to another mask.

id like to see more pics with other masks (proflex, grills, profilers, etc)
