Every TV show I watch the premier of and try to follow ends up canceled. So for your sake I won't watch it.

I've had the screener for a few months now. Decent show. It has it's issues, but I think it should be fun.

It is kind of like the X-Files except the "issues" are something that is, to a degree, grounded in some type of scientific reality. Take Scully's point of view in the X-Files and that's FRINGE. It's not extra terrestrial (at least it doesn't appear so) but someone is playing god with the world.

It'll slowly start to tie in, and by the end of the premiere you'll know what the whole season is going to be based around.

Isn't this the show that advertises itself as 'written by the writers of Transformers"?

I remember laughing after hearing that. I may watch it, but I doubt I'll like it enough to keep watching. TV seems to be losing its luster for me. At least until Dexter, Breaking Bad, and BSG start up again.

I think it mentions that to get people to look at the preview, but it's also advertised as from JJ Abrahms so that's good.

It's worth a view. I think it'll be entertaining for at least this season, but it's hard to say how long it could go on. I mean X-Files went on for 9 seasons, but they also had a few season's that we wish they'd just totally forget and TV audiences now have a LOT more to watch than in the past so bad season's mean bye bye. So we'll see. I think this season will remain pretty intriguing.

Just finished watching it, and it was pretty interesting. It will never live up to the X-Files, but it seems like a good show. Plus, Dunham is hot.

I enjoyed it. Tough to say if I'll keep up on it but for now it has caught my interest.

They could have cut all the crap out of the first episode and made it fit in an hour (42 minutes with commercials).

It had good twists, though like Fox shows always do

Believe it or not Abrams is what makes me tentative about trying to watch this series. I just really hate Lost, every show starts with a half explanation of what happened in the previous show and finishes with 3 more cliffhangers. The guys from Transformers don't bother me, you can almost always blame the production and direction crew of a movie to ruin it, not necessarily the writers fault.

I watched the first episode and I must say Jackson was bad. I felt like everybody else was doing well but he just didn't seem to fit the role of the cocky wiseass with a chip on his shoulder. I don't doubt he'll get better, he's usually pretty good in whatever he's in, but he got a rough start.

Anybody else notice how Lance Reddick (the black cheif guy) started out speaking with an accent/mannerism but by the end of the show he was just Daniels again (from The Wire). It seemed to me like he was trying to kick his old character but I think too much of Daniels was just him showing through.

I'll watch the next few episodes at least. If it becomes obvious that we're never going to get the answers we want then I'll drop it.

I have no idea what that thing was! Did you hear it making those crazy noises? I'm interested into what the symbols mean.

The 24 sneak peak was interesting, too.

The acting was shaky, the 'science' was more than shaky, and the whole thing seemed amateur and eccentric.
