A researcher published this survey result: "74% of people would be willing to spend 10% more for energy from
a non-polluting source". The survey question was announced on a national radio show and 1,200 listeners
responded by calling in. What is wrong with this survey?

i'm just not seeing what's wrong with it. i hate statistics, can anyone help me out?

1.2 k isnt very many responses for a nationwide survey and it doesnt really say what kind of people are responding (where they live, socail status, etc) Something leike that maybe?

Alright so Im doing a research paper for english. You have to have a topic and 3 questions about that topic. I chose to type about paintball and how its related to a sport. I was asking help to find some good websites that contains good information about the history of paintball throughout the years. She wont let us choose anywebsite but it has to end with a .edu,.gov,.org. Thanks.

I get where you're coming at, just remembered that people with stronger feelings about the issue are more likely to call in and voice their opinion as well.

thanks bro.

It's biased because it's a call in survey, I.E the subjects of the survey contacted the surveyors, not the other way around. People that call in tend to be more passionate in regards to these issues.

i cannot get this physics problem

Suppose the coefficient of static friction between the road and the tires on a car is 0.60 and the car has no negative lift. What speed will put the car on the verge of sliding as it rounds a level curve of 24.8 m radius?

The force of friction is the centripetal force acting on the car keeping it in its turn, so set the force of friction of the car equal to the centripetal force and solve for v.

(mu)mg = [m(v^2)]/r

where mu is the coefficient of friction.

A woman has a total of $9,000 to invest. She invests part of the money in an account that pays 8% per year and the rest in an account that pays 12% per year. If the interest earned in the first year is $800, how much did she invest in each account?

i forgot how to do this =(

Points of inflection are where f'' changes from + to -, or f' changes from increasing to decreasing.

Max/mins are where f' changes from + to -, or when f changes from increasing to decreasing.

A tank is full of water. Find the work W required to pump the water out of the spout. (Use 9.8 for g and 3.14 for . Round your answer to three significant digits.)
r = 9
h = 4.5

Take the distance to the moon then divide by the Earth's radius (make sure you use the same units for both).

I read that a while ago. If I remember right, 1 guy gets the other drunk and takes him down in a crypt and locks him in there for revenge.
