dm12 trigger spring

just got the red and white dm12 sunday and the trigger is pretty stiff. anyone every remove the spring and have it walk better? its almost pointless to walk it when on psp i can shoot quick with 1 finger. just wanted to see if anyone has tried this or have any suggestions. i didnt know weather if it needs to be broke in or if it would be nicer to remove the spring any info or video would help

It's personal preference. Some people take it out, some leave it in, some find a lighter spring to replace it.

If you take it out the gun might shoot when you bump it and you might have issues with the trigger sticking if it gets paint or dirt in it so be careful.

You can remove the spring by pulling the grips back and pulling the spring out with some needle nose pliers. You don't need to pull the trigger out.

It will shoot the same. as with or without. All my DM's I've always replaced the spring with the spring from a DM4, it was super light, but on the new frame I take the spring out all together the DM12 has one of the stiffest stock triggers I can remember.

I know this is an old thread but if someone could help me that would be great. I have a dm12 and have had the spring out ever since i got and have not had any problems but one of my friends told me having the spring out can damage the micrswitch and it says so in the manual. Is this truer is it ok? thanks

well since you have already brought it back from the dead...

if your trigger pulls are too hard you can break the microswitch also without a spring/ magnet to help push back the trigger the switch inside degrades faster.

but hey you can always soldier on a new switch!
