Well, I'm pretty much at a loss for words...
If you look at an EGO 08 it's really hard to actually mill anything off that marker; besides the fact that they work in very different ways.
Also, the amount of effort in creating a new system is very large; using parts of a current manufacturer helps me produce a working prototype without putting effort in things that are pretty much standard (detents, eyes, regs, etc).

I've been a little busy trying to solve the speed issues with the bolt so I can get the speed up. Also I have a LAPPL tournament this weekend in Bogota so that's my main focus right now.
Prototype 2 is already in the manufacturing stages; inner parts mostly for now. I think I will have a new prototype in January.

Thanks for staying tuned everybody.

Without redisgning componedts for a higher pistion surface area and/or lower mass theres really only 2 ways to speed it up, increase the flow to the moving assembly (preferable) or increase the pressure.

Says you "PSP/Xball" guys. Everyone always says that. Not everyone plays that format besides, he said he was trying to reach 30bps. I get just as agro about kids i see on the field with the high priced guns with the "latest technology" boards only to use all that speed at the chrono yet can't hold a lane for ****. Just my 2cents.

"Angry?!" hardly my friend. SOoo 13-15bps=70% can you imagine what the percentage would be at 17-20bps. And no i'm not talking about ramping. But that depends on you. If 15bps is easy, more is achievable. But the ones that play that format always say 13-15 is enough.ALWAYS!

i managed to hit 23 in a game on my 05 ego one time, no idea how, probably due to adrenaline, but the BPS counter read 23bps after the game......but the gun could do it, so id expect no less from an 09/2010 gun

a gun never really needs to ever shoot over 20 bps cause hardly anyone can finger faster than that and theres no reason to ramp or auto faster than 15 bps. the only reason the ego is advertised to shoot at 76 cps it because numbers like that sell product to newbs who don't know better.

I mean its not all about shooting fast, yeah I've got 26 ramping over a chrono with my 98 custom for gods sake, and i could have gotten more with a faster hopper. but you never need to shoot that fast, I watch people get dominated by the pump players that i lay cover for all day.

And its usually always is adrenaline. 30bps maybe high but if its there adrenaline or not, more is possible. Try the "3fingerdiscount" technique and even in short bursts its very possible.

you need a nice and well tuned trigger for the 3 finger techinque. 3 finger burst can be madd fast and 3 finger walking takes way too much coordination.
