That is a shame. I suggest more lead time and better player awareness of future events.
When is the next one and where? Today would be a good start.

A practice/scrimmage will still be held on the beautifully maintained sod! Paint prices will remain the same (50 & 60)and a lowered entry fee for the scrimmage is available.
We all wanted this event to happen at RiverSplat, so lets at least get a good day of paintball in anyway!!
Good luck with the next event, hopefully it works out.

Well thank you Captain Obvious! Lets have the seven man in the Bing cage!
We actually had our first (no age limit) tourney last year in the fall. But like the Bing tourney only a few teams showed. I think we had 9 for that event. We actually ran out cheese for all the whine that was going on. So we switched it up to events that everyone could enjoy and maybe learn something, including the staff at RiverSplat.
YG 3-0
Pump 2-0
Tournies for people that want everything for nothing 1-4

I'm pretty sure the "Bing Cage" would give us more then 4 days notice... Agreed?
That being said, you all have a nice field.. But trying to talk **** makes you look like an idiot.

My friend...the '4 days notice' thing was on Karnage....they didn't initially want it posted in the MO Forum...(why who knows - something about routing it all through their forum under Tourneys)......so, not on RS at all.....actually Rip posted this tournament a LONG time ago in the MO forums and was asked to move it to the Karnage Forum..............
and all in all RS puts on great tournaments.....it's not really their fault STL area ballers want HIGH payout/prizes for no entry.... seems that turnouts all over STL have been really low this year.....but don't blame RS..

for all those who were interested in playing this tournament. we are going to still have a scrimmage. the field will start opening at 9 o'clock...and lets try to start the games at 9:30. Management says the scrimmage will be FIELD PAINT ONLY!!! so the fees will be $10 for entry and $45 for mid-grade and $55 for high grade. the field is set up for an over size 5-man. hope to see some players out.

My wife is the only one that gets away with calling me an idiot. Unless you want to start washing my dirty underwear? So easy fella.
What was the smart parts championship called? Rage in the Cage. That is a 3man field, like the Bing. Thats what we called it before the ice storm took out the first one they had. So inshort, the previous comment about RiverSplat was the only insulting one on this thread. As for you, thank you we think it is a nice field too.
