Two weeks ago me and four other european techs went to Manchester to learn all about the 09 lineup, tech and build them and last but not least try both markers on a privat paintballfield.
The Geo is a very smart concept which not only shoots awesome but also will be very reliable due of only 3 dynamic seals.
Jack and Steve did a really great job releasing the marker when they thought it is ready for release and not releasing it years ago to just have another marker in the lineup.
It shoots very smooth, is no airhog, has all the advantages of the Ego Boards and can be striped within just a few seconds. It suited my style very well and i love that it even is lighter then the ego.
What do you want more ?
As the Geo is different then some other Spoolies you should also read your manual prior maintaining the marker the first time.
This marker needs very little eclipse grease. So forget about putting a whole tube in this spoolie as you might be used from other products.

I use to be an avid spoolie shooter. The limited shots per tank persuaded me to try out the '05 Ego just after the '06 was released. Since then I have owned and shot a number of Egos waiting for an answer to the efficiency issues related with spoolies. The Droid came out last year and I thought the Holy Grail of spoolies was created, but now things have changed. The Planet Eclipse gods have created a spoolie to rule them all. An immaculate beast called the Geo has been presented to answer all questions concerning weight, balance, efficiency and looks that all other spoolies have left us asking at some point or another.
On behalf of the paintball community I would like to thank Jack and the Planet Eclipse team for reinventing the wheel yet again and improving it by leaps and bounds that no one could have imagined possible. I cannot wait to get the Geo in my hands.

I have a problem with people declaring this marker the end-all spool-valve ruler and all this stuff.
Very few of you have shot this. I know I certainly have not. So how can you possibly compare it (yet) to the markers that are on the market right now? Sure, it looks great. I'm excited to shoot it for sure. But I've seen plenty of markers that don't live up to the hype, so I for one am wary of any new product, even one made by a reputable company such as PE.
I hope that this is a marker I can look for as the next step to a higher-end marker than what I currently have (mid-to-high end marker). That said, I'll wait until I can use it before saying it is god. From what I can see, however, with my engineering background - looks like some exciting technology in this.
