Grill mod.

THIS IS NOT A B/S/T THREAD!

Ok I when I first got my grillz I thought they were really uncomfortable because of the rubber on my ears and when I got shot in my ear it hurt a lil' and I wanted extra comfort and protection so this is what I did I had a extra pair of Dye I3 Pro Soft ears.

NOTE: This Mod is not really a modifaction at all this is just a simple drop in procedure that requires about 1 minute of your time. Below I have posted pictures of what to do they may look a little confusing but I will explain how easy it is to get extra comfort and protection out of your grill.

What You will need for the Job!
V-force Grill
V-force Grill Strap W/Clip attached to the strap!
Dye I3 Pro Soft Ears

Picture 1: Tools You Will Need For The Job.

Picture 2: A formulated view of what it will look like inside the mask.

Picture 3: This shows you that the clip needs to enter the black side and exit the colored side (In this case red) then needs to be hooked in.

Picture 4: An inside view of what it looks like.

Picture 5: If you did this all correctly then BOOM!!! HEADSHOT!

Now the only reason I made this thread is not because I want a "Sticky" the simple reason is because of what I said above the grills rubber is uncomfortable on my ears and they maybe unconfortable on some others.

I dont mind constructive criticism but flameing is just not tolerated you will be reported and I will try to my fullest attempt to at least have you recieve infraction points. And for those of you who do not know the difference

Flameing- Dude you suck, your ideas suck, you fail at life go drink bleach etc.
Constructive Criticism (SP)- nice thinking but this is where your idea needs some improving but nice try etc.

This Mod is really comfortable btw it fits nice and snug on your ears but the only downfall is that if you do not own Dye I3Pro Soft Ears you will have to purchase them or steal them (I dont condone stealing it was just a joke) I can submit better pictures if requested any question I will do my best to answer them (Dont Like my punctuation drink my piss) Thank You

that does look confy, and easy. Nice work. the only thing i really see wrong with that is hearing. Does it affact your hearing at all on the field? If it did even a little bit for me, I couldn't stand it. Im just kinda weird about having the best hearing i can have on the field. I play snake, so it is really important to me, but like i said, this is amazingly simple and does look super confy. Great Job

suprisingly it does not affect hearing all that much just a little bit. I mean it does but has very little affect on your hearing and the reason for this is.

1.) the holes in the soft ear
2.) how the material is made

like I said I want to be honest it and answer questions truthfully it does but I garuntee you will not notice it that much. It's not like a muffle but very slight in the sound thank you for your positive reply I appreciate it

cool, can you see the soft ears from the outside? Like would it stop you from using it in a tournament (that don't allow modified masks)?

So simple, Someone has had to have done this before, but I have never heard/seen it done. Why didn't I think of this. Nice job though.

not at all. It only goes as far as your temple so you still have the awesome visibility as you have had before. And no it has no strain on the rubber parts where the straps go through.

Yes you can hide them it is very consealable (SP) right now you can see a little red but you can lower them as low as you like.

Yea I have never claimed to have made this idea up and I am pretty sure people have done this before me. But I am pretty sure I am the first to put up a tutorial guide and the first to put this on pbn but I maybe the first to try it with I3 Soft ears?

haha your funny

anyways with them installed you can't really see them they can be lowered so they are not visible, and I got big ears so the rubber irritates them so I thought this would be a good idea and they are hella comfy, especially when you got shot there you can not even feel it because of the softies.

But we are all different so it may irritate me and they may not irritate you that is just the way of the world thanks for your somewhat sarcastic post I really appreciate it

yep this is the whole point of this mod. As you know it is very uncomfortable being shot there. Hence why this thread was made
