Do one arm pushups so it only cracks half the time.

My elbows don't crack, but my left knee and both ankles do. You can hear my knee cracking from a few feet away when I'm doing squats. My knee/ankle cracking stems from old injuries I've sprained both ankles, and I mangled my knee in a motorcycle wreck.
.
If your worried about it, you can always ask your doctor at your next checkup.

that **** is really annoying and happens to me sometimes as well
Try getting some small cast DBs (like 5's or 10's maybe, borrow some from your girlfriend) and using those for push-ups. I actually do this myself because I do a lot of typing and even with wrist exercises I still have pain when I do a push-up the standard way.

My ankles and knees always crack, I don't know if I should see a doctor or not, I mean it's not painful, but hopefully it's not leading to arthritis or something.

I'd reccomend fish oil as a supplement. It's great for your joints and after a short time taking steady doses I had a lot less issues with my elbows. Look into it. You can buy a bottle at Wal Mart for like 10 bucks. I aim for at least 6 capsules a day depending on the dose.

You need to warm up a little better... I'm not just talking a light job or something, do something that gets the joints you're about to work moving.
Fish oil is also the mo' ****in' ****.

I have the same problem with my knees. They pop and crack like for every rep that I'm squatting, and even most of the time when I'm at work or something and I crouch down to straighten something out on the shelf. Same thing with my shoulders when I do lateral raises.
*Ninja edit - And I can't swallow pills, otherwise I'd be taking fish oil. I bought a liquid version one time and it was alright, but it was quite costly.

Man up and take them... You're thinking too much about it. Just pop em in, drink some water and go. After a week or so you'll be fine with it.
