XE Feedneck

One of my biggest gripes with the XE feedneck is that it seems to make the whole assembly sit higher by about a quarter inch. It seems Lapco may have come out with a feedneck that doesn't do this and might look somewhat normal on your gun:

Lapco XE feedneck

Does anyone have any experience or pictures with this feedneck on an XE? Personally have no experience with LAPCO, but I know they've been around forever and supposedly make quality products. Has anyone seen feednecks like this from any other companies?

This is the feedneck I have for my regular Ion. IT is a good feedneck, but the only problem I have with it is the allen screw size it uses to tighten the band. It's a 9/64" size, which isn't a very common one for paintball, so I had to go to Home Depot and buy an allen key set just so I could tighten it.
