It's all personal preference. Go to your local shop/field and hold and try out some markers. Find out which ones you like and stick with that.

any gun is good for scenario. Its all preference of the user. I rock my droid or other high ends when i play. However i will be using some sp1's next year, one specifically will have a high power LED tac light, and im thinking a gen 1 monocular or rifle scope mounted to it. Use that for events with night play. And im going to get a nice Gen2+ or 3+ HPT goggle system for night play when i wanna rock my high ends.

I've played Oklahoma D-day three years so far and I've done a bunch of local big games and my personal $.02 is that all the markers that are made to look like rifles with 5lbs of cosmetic mods are kind dumb. If you think about it do you really wanna haul around a 9 pound marker all day long?

Just use what you're comfortable with. For me thats usually some form of E-cocker or Matrix.

Again, it all depends on you. If your into the milsim style, the Tippmann A5 is the king of modibility. You really cant go wrong with an A5.

Try an Automag. Maintenance is a breeze, and you can customize to your heart's content. However, a basic Classic Automag is completely playable without modification. As a plus, an Automag has an integrated regulator, so you don't have to buy that in addition to the marker.

Any gun is a scenario gun..its just a different style of game. Gun depends on your playing style. Word of advice though, dont go modding your gun up to look real and all that.. all it does is add to a bigger target for me.

if i had the money to blow on a milsim gun, i'd get the BT-4 Delta. now, if i were building my own, it would either be an X7 or MR2 that could switch between a sniper and AR look: folding stock, bipod, red dot/laser, and 14"-16" barrel.

I got my X-7 about 8-9 months ago and I love it it's pretty mutch stock exept for teh car stock I have the MP5sd shroud but hard ly ever use it cause my barrel is to short, so I packed foam pipe cover into the silencer just to use it,but it's still sweet!!

No such thing as a scenario gun. Only the gat that helps the other guy get to the deadbox sooner.

Now, if we're talking milsim then you can't go wrong with an A-5, X7, Tiberius Arms or Milsig Elite. Haven't used the Bt TM-7 yet so I can't recommend it, but I've read mostly great reviews.

I personally run with one of three primaries....PPS Blazer, AGD Tac One or my trusty 'Cocker Sniper. I'll be picking up an electropneumatic in the next couple months for scenario play as well. Either a PE marker, or Bob Long's MTac. Can't wait to see what the new 'borg looks like.

it depends on if u r looking for a good gun that will work or a milsim gun to match the scenario, or both. i use an MG-42 A-5. looks good, fits with WW2 scenario's and is a good gun that keeps working under harsh conditions.

I realy think Tippmann are the best marker for play Rec/woods or MilSim. They are more trustworthy than Spyder, smart parts, or Speedball marker, if you play a lot and play in hards conditions, like winter and rain....

You can also easily customize your Tippmann (98,A5,X7,Alpha Black,....) in a weapon replica.

hey, i'm a little partial here, but i would check out the PE etec2. Its got a little more weight, and a little more solidity than the o9 ego, and it works almost identically to the 06-07 ego. some of the parts are even the same. Its reliable, next to impossible to kill, the board is well covered(no lcd screens or any of that nonsence) stock, it shoots really accurately, and without worrying about the paint. IE. my x7 has so many mods that if I dont shoot xball bronze or better, all i have is an expensive blender, while my etec is accurate with nearly anything(cant do much with monsterballs) but thwe white box shoots perfectly. AND another bonus is that when your gun does chop, it can be field stripped and cleaned in less that 2 minutes, including the eyes.

you said you already have a gun but didnt tell us what it is. all of these guns are good suggestions but ask yourself these questions. What do i like about my current gun? what dont i like? How much can i afford for a new gun. Can i do the maintenance on this gun myself or will i be relying on someone else. do I have access to repair parts if something goes wrong at the field. will this gun be ugradeable if i decide i need to add something or get more performance from it. Some small annoyances can be fixed with an upgrade but be carefull upgrades can quickly add up. whats more important to you rate of fire or simulated military look. And most importantly what is my style of play and how does this marker fit me?
