I'm gonna figure out how to fire a paintball with a frigging spring. use the air to cock the darned thing and go from there. It's a true "no bolt" design because there does not need to be a bolt to seal off the breech. So what if it operates on 450 PSI it will only use the volume of the ram in one direction then done.

I'm off to bed now...it's my 16th wedding aniversary so....sorry for the mental image there.

In the second photo, you cannot have holes through the back of the bolt or else it will never move forward, it will simple just stay back since its spring biased that way, and vent the air through those holes. Again, it can work, but not how you have it drawn.

Take some more time and analyze the drawing, thinking the movement's over to yourself, try and visualize it and every single action taking place and you will see the flaws.

maybe.
i did, and it did it with MS paint, so making things to fit ur perspective was incredibly dificult, and i kind of got bored of drawing it out on paint after like an hour, but still i understand, it will work, the operating presure ( i calculated some stuff) should be around 250-325ish psi, i heard many remarks about the marq, which i am unfarmiliar with, if so can some1 send me a diagram link?

And no, i dont want to jsut get a marq, the challenge for me was to design something that could work, and work practically, as i designed other designs utlizing a pancake noid and other stuff, this is the one that i think would be the one that is most practical of the unique things i've made

thanks for the comments especially sports

also to those who cluttered my thread with anrelated matieral thanks alot

Persian, download/buy a 3d designing software. You can get the student versions for free usually, or at least a trial.

And yes, this is Zach.

P.S. I designed a bolt too! . It's really weird. One involves magnets and a dump chamber, and one is really out there, it it's an inline poppet too.

Without a bolt, how do you prevent the high pressure air/CO2 from going right up the feed tube?

tbh this would probably be lighter/shorter than a marq, aand would some1 plz give me a diagram of a marq so i can see for myself that they are the exact same thing (as in the way that they operate).

edit: internals look absolutley nothing like the marq, and from the looks of it it doesnt rele work in the same way as the marq, it is the same concept but different operations
