I heard before they hit you, you hear the screams of a thousand kangaroos.
The Iraqi's fearfully call them "the butchering dingos"."

Nope - I was actually old enough to have been an adult while Clinton was in office. I didn't like him then, and I don't want him now.

I get a kick out of listening to these guys that refer to Clinton when they talk about Bush - people absolutely HATED Clinton and I don't care what the polls said. They all wanted Bush Sr back... But here we are, a decade (almost) later and now he's revered. The same thing happened with Reagan, and then Bush, Sr. You watch, people will say the same thing about Bush in a few years. They always do...

They may not wish we had Bush *back,* but they will see that it is the combined stupidity of America and its leaders (Executive, Judicial, and Legislative) which did it in, not one person. They will see that the events concerning terrorism, the middle east, and the economy will have been, for all intents and purposes, inevitable.

I'm not all pro-Bush nor am I against free speech. I just think this movie is too soon.

Why didn't you like him? Do you honestly think that we are better off now than we were when Clinton was in office?

Speaking for myself, he was pretty mcuh a do-nothing president. Laws enacted in 1995 under him led to this morgage issue coming to fruition. Clinton, aside from lying to congress and the public, did not instill any sort of pride in me. He was a lawyer scum then and he still is now.

As far as the movie:
Should have named it what it reeally was: "We're REALLY trying to get a democrat into office this time. So heres a scewed viewpoint to change some sheeple."

That doesn't compare to the things that Bush has done and/or supported.

Anyway, opinions are hard to change and this is getting to be off-topic.

I had a whole thing typed up, but accidentally deleted it. It's too early in the morning, so I'm not typing it again.

I remember what it was really like back then - and I don't care what numbers anyone can pull up on the internet nowadays, numbers don't show the human condition. I definitely remember much better than most of the yahoos on this forum because I was actually grown up and working, and just starting a family back then.

Do I honestly believe things are better now than then? In more ways, yes, I whole heartedly and completely believe things are better. In some, maybe not better but not much worse. You have to remember - take Bush's COMPLETE presidency into consideration - for the first 6 years, he had one of the highest ratings of any president. "Numbers" were great for him! It's just been the past couple of years that things have been bad, and it isn't even mostly his doing - he's just the commander on watch. Congress has an even LOWER rating than him, and they're causing most of this to happen.

This isn't the politics forums, so I'll stop - I could go on, though. I have TONS of stuff about Clinton, haha!

To stay on topic, I won't watch this movie, just like I don't watch any political based movies because I don't want to be swayed by Hollywood's take on a situation. It's bad enough we have to hear it from the media - I won't let my entertainment be ruined by it as well!
