Cleaning an Ego barrel, Help??
Well I received an 07 Ego yesterday that I got in a trade and it got to be in horrible condition. It was very very dirty, paint everywhere even in the ram sleeve. But I could clean all of that out but I couldn't clean what ever is in the barrel. It is like a combination of what I think is paint, sand, dirt, and maybe even wax? But I can not get it out, I squeegeed it and got a lot of it out, but there is still a coat of crap around the inside that I cannot get out. Anyone know of anything that would be able to get it out? Any help is appreciated.

Try boiling the barrel, if that fails you may need to use an oil-solvent soap (palmolive)

got the majority of the gunk out by goo gone, then boiling it, then more goo gone

Just soak it in some simple green for a few minutes then clean the outside with a tooth brush or a brush and the inside with a rubber barrel squeegee.
