Found a sweet CoD4 paintball mod today, im pretty sure it was just released, add me on xfire, outlaw19

yeah that mod is awesome, I have the mod but no config file, do you have a config file? A fellow clan member and I have a custom server that we are going to run it on, if anyone is interested I will post up the IP once it is up and running. We also created a thick woods map a while ago that will be fantastic for it.

some things i dont like about this mod so far

1. Speedball fields isnt really like speedball, you keep spawning non stop and its gay cause enemys will spawn like right beside your bunker

2. wish they had DM7/8 and ego skins for guns but other then those 2 things i love this server, if any of you want the IP just add me of xfire

1 - the maps most likely have very bad spawn points, what sucks is that maps are a little tough to edit, we have some good maps with decent spawns but maps with low artifacts like speedball feilds should be easy to make - or if you put the game type on s&d it would be a little more like paintball

2 - i also wanted to see some DM's and egos but those would require complete new gun models because they are so small and different from any gun model used by COD4.

so maps can be fixed easily but not the dm's

Yea I've been playing it a bit.

my thoughts:

1. remove the damn nades, nade launchers, and shotguns.

2. smaller speedball maps for smaller teams.

3. on speedball maps ya gotta play last team standing (TDM with no respawn)

nice SS drex, the blue n yellow smoke looks tight like that, n it would be tight if they put the world cup format this year in it or something for a speedball map

open up cod4 browser, filter mods, look for paintball server
unless you dont play on the pc then you wont be getting this mod

I justed started playing. There's like 10 different paintball servers which is cool.

But this mod isn't very good. Still going to play though.

Yea, mod has alot of downfalls, but it did just come out like last week or some****, so im sure they will fix some ****. IMO, they need to make it so the speedball field gets played longer every time we switch to that map the game is over in less then 5min and its the best map so its kinda gay. Also they need to take out smoke, nades, noobtube, and rpg.

Are ALL the paintball servers the same mod?

Yea, they should make it so that when you play speedball fields its no nades, rockets, tubes, smoke, melee, or rpg.

But on the woods fields I can understand allwoing nades and smoke.

Oh, and no UAV.

if they don't make it more realistic within a month or so I plan on modding the mod and releasing it myself

I'll probably also rework the way you get and upgrade weapons.

are there servers for other players? you know the ones who have gotten there key stolen and dont have a cd key? the ones who play on no cd key servers?
