I am pcs`ing this summer to Camp Walker. Can I fly with my gear and is it going to be a problem going to the fields to play?

When I pcs'd to Korea I just put my gear in my household goods. Going through customs at the airport with paintball gear is a toss up, and you may or may not get it confiscated. So to be safe put it in your household goods

Hello,

I'm looking to play paintball at camp Casey. I am an English teacher in Korea, and do not have any equipment. what kinds of guns do they rent, and when is the best day to play? It's a 2 and a half hour train ride to seoul so I would hate to go on a day no one is there.

You can, but ask that they put sports equipment on the customs form

Question Camp Casey Paintball

Hi, I went to Osan today to go paintballing and had a bad experience. I am not going to get in to it, I didn't play. Anyways, I was very disappointed with the field there and I am hoping to find a better one. I was wondering what the field looks like/ if there is more than one/ and other facts. I am on Yongsan and I have been dying to go since I moved. Thanks for the help.

Also, wondering if Camp Humphreys paintball is open and can use your own equipment.

I just left Camp Humphreys a couple months ago. The only option you have is to head up to Camp Casey. You can either take the shuttle bus system that goes from Yongsan to Red Cloud then to Casey; or jump on the train from Seoul Station and head north. Since you are already at Yongsan the traveling wont be too bad. Just go to the terminal and check out the bus schedule. The bus is free to get there and back.

Check the field out on FB, Kilo Romeo Sports.

The days usually vary sat or sun. I would get on their fb page and ask. Field owner is very helpful.

Camp casey is one of the nicest fields I have ever played on. The field has brand new turf and airball bunkers, and the owner is incredibly helpful. There is a team that plays every other weekend there, typically on Sunday.

Yes you can bring all your own gear. There is also a small proshop for anything you might need. I think they just opened an indoor field so you can play year round now.

I don't think there are any tournament teams left in Korea. However if you get on Facebook and look up Sam Kim, he is everything you need to know about paintball in Korea.

Yall know of any local fields in the daegu area? its like 6 or 7 hours for me to get up to casey if I want to play and the Osan field is horrible now and the payment / rules is kind of absurd.

I found a paintball group on facebook by searching daegu paintball. There is a field in Gumi but only C02 and then a field in Muju which is suppose to have HPA. I have not confirmed this personally.
