College ROTC

Hey, I'm a freshman at UCLA at the moment and I'm considering joining the Air Force or Navy after I graduate.

I'm thinking of trying to become some sort of a medic in the military and afterward possibly become a firefighter.

How would ROTC in college help me with all this? Can anybody who has gone through college ROTC tell me how you liked it?

Going to go talk to the ROTC captain right now.

medics, besides surgeons and doctors, are generally enlisted. If you want to be a combat medic then you're not looking at ROTC, but if you're looking to be an officer or a doctor in the military then look into ROTC.
