any thoughts on these? really leaning toward them because I can get them for $150.

also, question: about what range of length should I be looking at for twin tips? I'm 6'2", about 160lbs.

Well, I'm 5'10ish 145 and I use 171 Twin tips, but then again I'm use to long skis since I race.

I'd look at twins anywhere between 165-175

Yeah then get something smaller. I get bigger skis because I've always raced on longer skis (165 SL, 181 GS, 195+ SG, etc.) so I feel like I can control them more, but you also have to look at flexibility and weight. I've never skied on Rossi twins so I can't really help you out there. :/

I'd just go try them out if I was you.

Well they're a private sale, and they're the 07 model.

So I think I might get them, depending on shipping costs. Now I just need to look for new bindings and boots.

Only thing you need to know about bindings on twin tips, is check if the brakes fit the ski first. I know a lot of people who just buy cheap bindings and the brakes never release because they're narrower than the ski itself.

those ski really well, basically what i have with a different topsheet if i understand correctly. They ski really well all over, and the 174 is a pretty good length for all around skiing, assuming thats what you're going for.

Can't wait to get back on the slopes, but unfortunately I can only go on weekends. I live kinda far away from any good mountains. Any of you guys have the privilege to reside on or close to a mountain?

Nope. It's a 2 hour drive every other weekend for me, but we have a condo there so its like a home on it, but it's also a home away from home.

i live about 15 mins away, however in the winter my mom drives like a granny(well i guess she does all the time) so it takes like 1hour.

got my booster strap today. since my boot is about a size or 1/2 size too large i think itll really help me out

is there a big difference between the normal and expert booster straps? i got the normal, i race but the local shop does not carry expert. they just had rec and world cup.

It didn't come with instructions? I think mine did, but I still had someone mount them for me.

You'll love them
