"so to most this may be a shock, the only player who knew i ever spoke of this was stephen. After this houston event(which i cant wait to watch my best friends win it), if i played it or not if i couldnt play with my friends, i was just gonna quit. Why waste my time and effort with different teams who wouldnt know my name, are not used to the style of play, who knew me inside and out, whats the point. well last night i found out what is truly important to me. I was leaving ashlee's house, late. around 2:17. i was driving down bel air road, went through the intersection just fine and then bam. i went from 45 miles per hour to 0 in under a second. i had a head on collision into a telephone poll.One person dies in the US every 13 minutes in a Car Accident- 115 killed each day. 1.2 Million killed World Wide each year. the door was stuck shut so i had to climb out the top of the car to escape.i was frantic to escape because i had read the air from the airbags is poisionus and can cause some peoples skin to burn. but before i escaped i thought two things. 1. my dad is gonna kill me. 2. paintball and the family i miss playing with. I could have, should have, never seen any of you again. after i leave the car and ask this lady for a cell phone 5 electrical explosions go off. big ones. had i been in the car i would have been electricuted. ambulances and police came. no one believed i was in the car, they thought there was only dead people on this scene. thats what there should have been, a dead jim. i mean this collision was bad, really bad. miracuously i am not injured. i have a swollen knee and a sore collerbone, but nothing too serious, ill be limping for a bit. but when i was in the trauma building and while i was sitting in my totaled, destroyed, devasted volvo, i really did think about paintball and all you guys.your faces kept flashing up before my eyes. i got really scared when i was stuck in the car. it made me sick to think i was never gonna be able to play with any of my boys again. i might be ****ed up, i may have ****ed up, but i do know one thing and that is i want my family back."
