Nice and all.....but it means nothing to me considering I'm usually on at this time, and there are ALWAYS over 2000 people online.
Need ASM for the search feature to be practical. But thanks for attempting to make your ripping off of posters without it not as bad.

it shouldnt be. most forum sits let you search no matter how many people are online and its not that slow whats an exra 5 second loading time for a search feature you should be able to get for FREE no matter how many people are online

tony love u in a non gay way, but seriously.. just 200 increase? you could easily increase to 2000 and be fine. especially with the upgraded hareware.
tony id be interested in seeing your stats and server loads from search. i honestly cant see the search using that much. besides, you can limit exactly whats searched. you can remove common words like the, and, it, etc which will reduce drastically the load on the servers.
but i still  to the almighty server admin  |

im not shelling out 20+$ just to be able to search, its pointless and a waste of money.
i dont sell on here, so dont need that, and i dont care about a large pm box, or whatever else. its a waste.
find something else to replace search with or something. asm doesnt support everyone nor does it fit everyones needs. |
