Small feedneck/barrel leak

So.. screw in tank and listen from the barrel or feedneck... makes no noise around reg or any other area... its a moderate to small leak.. i can still play with it but i know im losing co2
my dwell is set right bolt has been lubed (tried lubing 1000 times) and tried stock bolt and firebolt.. my velocity is set right.. but still no luck.. tried new batts too.. any suggestions

did you lube the o-ring inside the bolt stop? because that is the o-ring that seals the breech.

There are only 2 orings that will cause that leak. The 1 inside the bolt stop and the other is inside the body and is very difficult to get to. Air up you gun, keep it turned off. Stick your finger inside the feed neck and put your finger on front of the bolt. Keep it there and try to get a good seal with your finger on the bolt. If air pushes on your finger, then it is the oring on the bolt stop. If not, then the air leak is around the outside of the bolt which means it is the oring inside the body. Hope this helps

But, once you understand the air flow... walk in the park.

well sean.. i little late on the post lol but thanks GALORE for the info.. i know that i am reviving an old thread here but i still think this info is usefull.. i played my important game with the leak and was surprised by teh amount of shots i got off even with a leaking gun...

my first vibe i got was a second gen one i got it from a place in florida when i went on holidays. It was the first vibe that the owner had ever sold so i was rather excited.. so hem hem after smuggling it over the boarder hem hem along with a full co2 tank i had no troubles until it started freezing.. then i broke a seal in the reg. which was the biggest paint ever... and i was about to give up on the vibe after this leak.. so its winter here and theres over a foot of snow outside.. but i'll be sure to give this a try and hope i get it fixed
