I apologize if that's how you understood it. that is not how I meant it. the point I was making is that there are more than one interpretation, and that not all believe in an interpretation that excludes science.

I do like Lou Dobbs though. He tells it like it is, he doesn't put a conservative or liberal tint on anything. He's a true independent.
What I meant to say was, I think the media creates stories, and pushes things people don't really care about, and makes them stories.

You don't understand. Here are your three posts in chronological order. It's not an opinion; it's undeniable logical fact.

As you can clearly see, you first tout specific knowledge of what the experiment is supposed to accomplish. Information you obviously gleaned from the news media you so categorically renounce as attempting to influence the populace.

Guess what? You just identified yourself as the sheep in that equation. Get a clue?

A black hole would suck in everything before we even knew anything went wrong

I got some sciency questions maybe you guys can answer. 1, If light has no mass, how is it affected by the gravity of a black hole? 2, They say the micro black holes would be short lived. How exactly does a black hole end? Ihe particles become so dense that nothing can escape its reach, what exactly would pull them apart?

we have already made black holes in other particle excelerators. and even if we created another black hole and it had taken up as much energy as the earth it would still only be big enough to have a few pulling power to atract things a few inches away from the core, with the size somewhere around the size of a pea. so now, if they creat a black hole with only particals, it wouldn't have enough energy to do much of anything.

1. General Relativity.

2. Black holes convert mass into radiation. The rate of radiation increases as mass decreases. As time passes, the mass of the black hole decreases to zero and it effectively evaporates.

Any other questions?

I love Michio Kaku, he's such an amazing physicist. I've started to find a distinct pattern in his rhetoric, but it works.

Also, this video gives a little bit of insight into how ***-backwards our political system is. It's embarrassing.

I argued that the media twists things to seem as they are something they are not, or as something the general populace does not know or care about.

I made statement one based on the knowledge from the media, since I haven't been paying attention to the project since sometime last year.

I do not see your point.

Not a sciency type could you be more specific with general relativity? I get the second part though.

No. Look it up yourself. It would be so much easier for you to check wikipedia than for me to try and illuminate your dim skull.

Basically...

Light is electromagnetic radiation in small packets called Photons.

The photons have no mass, but are still a form of matter. Black holes suck in any form of matter.
