Just put wheels down on the ground after being up in Ceder Rapids where Rockwell Collins is watching some stuff for the Army. Played with the new avionics for the UH-60M Upgrade aircraft.

On a sad not. a Chinook when in today. Damn, hate that. I also hope it was not a F model.

Yes, most of the ones we have are high performace ones put together at a rather high cost. I have seen some commercial stuff though that you can sit in with a large monitor in front of you with all the controls and what not. Not sure if those are fixed wing only though.

I've seen them for helicopters, but they're like $500 for each control surface so it'd be quite a bit of coin to get one.

wow, some interesting info here. I have always found Helos infinitely more interesting than fixed wing aircraft.
