i've talked to a guy that did it and from what i understood you really only need to rig up the battery not to move

i havnt tried it yet but what i would do is probably use 3 peices of tightly wrapped TP and put 1 on each side of the and one on the front or back of the battery (depending on how the board sits in the gun)

Go to a harware store and buy a set of air conditioner window foam seals. Its like $5 for a couple feet of foam that you could just cut off an inch and squeeze that between the battery and body. That would hold it in place and be a nice cushion. Then if you ever get an air conditioner you have the foam right there !

lol so it's pretty much just like getting the batter not to move with the stock board and harness lolo. what about the on/off switch? it just goes from the board to the switch, instead of going from the battery harness to the switch, then back to the board? sounds easy enough to me..

ok well im the one who put two yakuza's in two seperate 06 bogs for a customer you mount the board in no need for the board mount screw and find some cardboard and cut it out roughly the size of the battery ( hold the battery up to the cardboard and cut around it) and the screw that comes with the board holds the microswitch in place and everything else just fits snug. so enjoy the yakuza i ended up buying one for my 07 and absolutely love it so far!

plus where the battery plugs in keeps it from moving side to side

Would the board sit in the frame at the same angle when put in an 06 as opposed to an 07 or Droid? I'm just wondering if the screen would still be properly visible with the supplied grips or not...

It should. The grips for the 06, 07 borgs, and droids are all the same.
