Same here. I sent an email to Compulsive Paintball first about their Tadao boards, to update my earlier inquiry, but I have no answer as of yet. Now I'm just praying I didn't already crush the new eyes I bought today.

But for the first question of the thread, I want to sand down and polish my yellow barrel tip for a shiny, silver finish. How might I go about achieving this, aside from sanding in gradual increments of fineness?

looking for a rain gun i can use when it starts to rain or to just surprise people at tourneys when i pull out a spyder that shoots psp and shoots great. What should i look for. I am a huge timmy fan and have owned five so i want a spyder that would be comparible. VS2? Somthing else? what should i also get to make it tourney ready and good on paint/air?

Do they make spring kits for the VS series? Does the balance valve even use springs? Would buying a spring kit help lower pressure as with a normal spyder?

well i know that...I'm just interested in making a VS2 as efficient as possible and an upgrade as cheap as a spring kit (if they even make them for VS2's) seems to be worth tinkering with, if it could do anything anyway.

i dont think they even have a spring kit for the vs2. all the springs are different lengths. unless they decided to com out with one, which may as well be kinda pointless.

Lowering the operating pressure even more will actually give you worse efficiency.

But regardless, they don't make spring kits to fit with the balanced valve, the only way to do it is to buy a spring kit and cut them to length.

Keep in mind though all you might possibly do is lower the operating pressure to possibly shoot even MORE brittle paint than the 200psi VS2 can already shoot. Odds are you'll only drop around 20-30psi and still maintain a functional velocity, and in the blowback marker, that kind of a difference isn't going to help you much since the bolt flying forward will be rougher on the paint anyways. Or should I say, most likely.

thanks for the help, it sounds kind of pointless now. I was just asking because I knew using a spring kit was crucial in the older spyders. What kind of improvements would you see using an Alamo city delrin bolt and a striker?

I have a few questions for everybody...I purchased a VS1 brand new in box for only 60 bucks..and yes it's a real VS1....Beings I bought it for so cheap I thought I would put some money into the thing...I'm getting air and a virtue board with eyes for it...Also a low rise too...(any personal preference on low rises?..thinking about the custom products clamping lowrise..) But anyway...I'm going to air...a VS1 is a high pressure gun...operates at 800 psi...seriously is it worth getting a regulator? I figured using a custom products gas through to keep the gun operating on it's recommended pressure...ALSO...I want to get rid of the ugly front block and go with something else....Does the trinity front block fit the VS1? Please help!
