Gladiator reanno problem

hi guys
ok had my Macdev Gladiator Reg annoed and since has leaked. so first thing i have to ask is size of the larger Oring that sits on the plate at the bottom of the shim stack ? as may have the wrong one on there. other than that think the tolerances may have changed

Where is it leaking from? My reg was reannoed and I got a leak out the adjustment screw. I need a new bottom works because the tolerances definitely changed.

well i am guessing the leak is from the oring around the bottom of the shim stack. then venting over the collar, so am hoping a larger oring may solve this

Try using some dow55 first, as it swells o-rings. If that doesn't work, go one o-ring size higher.

its the diameter of the oring i need to work out, it still needs to sit over the plate, and be tight on the inside but gain a larger out side edge. and nerdy Oring types around ?

Using Dow 55 would not be a good idea. Dow 55 is intended for static O-rings, like those on the bolt assembly (drive train, or whatever) that don't move, as opposed to those on the bolt that move. Since the piston(s) in the HPR are mobile, you risk shredding them easier since the Dow-55 is absorbed into the O-ring.

It was by passing from around the two ball bearings and actually coming out the hole in the adjustment screw. The only temp fix was to lube the bearings but it would come back after a time.

had mine ano'd no problems with it. Did u check for any possible nicks, if u happened to mark up the inside by the reg seat air could pass around it. Although id imagine that itd be such a small and faint leak u wouldnt notice it.
