Are Golf Shoes Good For Paintball?

I have seen pros wear them and i have seen D1 and D3 players play in them.

I just got a pair but dont know if there a good kind.

There are plastic screw in inserts and metal screw in inserts.
I was told the plastic ones arent as good which is what i have.
Now im not sure if i should just get track cleats or what. Hmm...
Help?

Iīve played golf and... well.. if your planning on NOT running, sure use em. If you plan to actually run then... donīt. Just use some regular soccer shoes but the ones with small rubber things (dont know the name in english) Not the big oneīs like in normal 11 vs 11 soccer, the ones used in indoor soccer 5 vs 5. They are really good in any surface

I wouldn't recommend playing in golf shoes. Plus, you might end up hurting your feet. Golf shoes are not designed for all that rough and tumble action. DaniHel has some great suggestions. I would recommend soccer shoes, football cleats, or boots (for scenario play).

Why don't you just go to Kohls or TJ Max or wherever the heck you can get a discount and buy some tennis shoes and use them till they get worn out. S'what I do, and the only time I've ever fallen was when I ran through this mud puddles then tried to stop abruptly... in which case I deserved to fall.

'twas fun though... /whimsical sigh.

Golf cleats are great for turf. Outside I would recommend cleats of some type. You can try the golf shoes, just have plenty of the replacement spikes handy.

i agree. for grass, dirt, any natural surface for that matter, football cleats cant be beat. however, if you are playing on turf, football can have too much cleat, resulting in comical falls on your *** or flat on your back.

i use soccer cleats outdoors on any surface. i don't ever slip unless there are like..huge puddles or something.

football cleats are to awkward and heavy for me to be running and stuff in for paintball

I've seen a girl wear flip flops to paintball.

Not a good idea.

I suggest you stick to normal things like track shoes, soccers shoes, regular crosstrainers, basicaly shoes you can run in and feel omfrotable in.

The nice Nike high top golf shoes are incredible for turf. they grip every time, no need to worry and they are actually pretty dang comfortable. But for grass and stuff they don't offer anything that a soccer cleat doesnt.
