pm7.. UL/Virtue? (upgrades)

Hi everyone..

I might purchase a pm7 soon, depending on my budget.
I've heard very good things about the UL frame and the Virtue board.
My Q is: is it worth to get both of them or just a waste of money?.. I mean do the UL have almost the same board (performance speaking).
And, is there only one UL frame that fits all dm/pm markers?
Does a dye regulator fits a proto marker?

you going to be spending $250 (UL Frame) and $150 (Virtue board). the PM7 UL frame only fits the PM7. nothing else. as for regulators, any of them fit, from CP to the dye Hyper 2s or 3s.

Ok, thanks for ure reply.
Those 400$ could as well be spent on other things, I agree.
Which one is most worth the money, the UL or the Virtue?

i have a pm7 without the ul. i love it but i have heard a million times that a ul pm7 is the sex. i just put a new cp sling blade trigger on mine and love it. the stock board has all the features you need out of the box. i mean you dont have the billion of settings to fiddle with but the stock board is not bad. i suggest trying a ul pm7 and non uled and see what you like more. get a barrel and a new trigger.

Is the barrel and trigger that bad? I mean it isn't really a low-class marker.

the barrel is fine, pretty much the same as the UL. Trigger isn't bad, just a nice upgrade, most people get new triggers no matter what gun it is.

if you want you can wait until the world cup and buy a used pm8 when the price drops.
go broncos

If you need the option to ramp, the Virtue board might be something to look into. If not the stock board is perfectly fine, although the stock board also comes preset with PSP 3 shot, NXL full auto, and Millenium. The stock regulator on the PM7 is the same regulator found on the DM6 and DM7, there is no need to look into a replacement/upgrade. The barrel is completely fine. It is actually the .690 bore of the UL barrel line with different milling so once again there's no need to replace/upgrade it either. Bottom line, the PM7 is a great gun stock. You don't need to bother with upgrades. Best thing to do is get one and just go out a play with it. If you there's something you don't like about it then, that's when you should start looking at upgrades, not beforehand.

Bought a used one that came with a virture board. Stock frame is very comfortable but the stock trigger straight up sucks. Put a CP sling trigger into it and it shoots great. It really comes down to preference. UL frames are nice but I wouldn't spend 250 bucks on one considering how comfortable the stock frame is.

I use the stock frame and trigger, it rips just fine. I suggest trimming the trigger spring a bit. I would go for the Tadao M7 over the virtue........

Tadao + Matrix = teh secks
