Build times

Hey guys, ive been waiting for over two months now for my nasty houndstooth and was told 3 months. now before i get all excited about having it next month, what is a realistic build time? Is three months going to be enought or is it more like 4-6?

Just thought someone here might know/have experience ordering.

Thanks
Rob.

Last guy I know who got one waited 9 monthes. Great markers with great quality but they seem to always under estimate needed time.

Depends on how busy they are. They're finishing up a mass order of Squalls right now and trying to get done for Fall Castle, so that's probably put you further down in the queue.

If it makes you feel better, I waited over a year for my last order.

9 month waits were about 1-2 years ago when they had some staffing issues for the hot work I believe. My last 2 builds in 07 & 08 have both taken 3-4 months.

You can always call Jessica or Lori and ask, they don't mind

It will be worth the wait even if it is a year

Luckily I got my Palmer's used but it's like new.

What is the possibility of getting a Squall made with a K Frame?

New? Not very good as I believe they are no longer making and 12 gram guns including squalls. There have been a lot of them for sale lately as there was just a group buy get done a few months back and they are flooding the market a bit. There have been a couple sqaulls with k-frames, but I believe the k-frame was added after the fact. Your best bet would be to call PPS and just ask if they would be willing to make one. If they don't want to just find a gently used one with the options you want and add the k-frame to it (there was just a stroker k-frame for sale on MCB that may still be available). Once you have a squall you can contact sergison and have a k-frame made for it. Here is a picture of one of the k-framed sqaulls for everyone wondering what it would look like.
