THE POOL!

and sports leagues without salary caps are kind of boring. There's not much competition amongst the leagues because of exactly what just happened. Super rich tycoons come in and spend exorbitant amounts of cash to dominate the league, and no one has a chance. Which is why you see each euro league have a handful of teams leaps better than the rest.

Do you even watch the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, or the Bundesliga? There is an outrageous amount of competition now as compared to just a few years ago.

I LIKE MAN U AND I LOVE CRISTIANO HES GOING TO SCORE TOMOROW AGAINST WHO EVER HE PLAYS CAUSE HE ROCKS

No but seriously, I actually support Man Utd. Ever since I was 10 and playing Fifa 01 on PS2.

And my favorite player (note: PLAYER) is CR. I really don't think I need an explanation. Second would probably be Rooney.

Reds all the way.

And to follow the theme, I love Perugia... but they kinda aren't in the Serie A anymore... or B... lol.

I would hope this would help Liverpool be sold to DIC but, this also means Man City might be another team the top four will have to try and deal with.

LIVERPOOL F.C.

Liverpool has the best club song. I would not hesitate to go to a Liverpool game just to hear 40000+ people sing "You'll Never Walk Alone." That would be awesome...

Not like this isn't obvious ... but I'm a big Inter Milan supporter.

Ever since I studied abroad in Florence, I follow Fiorentina too.

The Blues have already captured Real Madrid’s Brazilian superstar Robinho for £32.5million. Now consortium frontman Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim says he is willing to pay £134million to wrest Cristiano Ronaldo away from arch-rivals Man United. City’s manager Mark Hughes has also been told he can bid £80million each for AC Milan’s Brazilian hitman Kaka and Barcelona's attacking midfielder Lionel Messi. Liverpool’s Spanish goal machine Fernando Torres and Arsenal playmaker Cesc Fabregas will be chased as soon as soccer’s next transfer window opens in January, with price tags of £70million and £60million respectively. And there will be a renewed bid of £60million for striker Dimitar Berbatov - who only signed for Man United on Monday night.
Various inc Neil Custis, The Sun

There's more on Berbatov joining United in the papers, with quotes taken from MUTV's exclusive interviews with Dimitar, Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill.

Comment on the deal includes ex-Arsenal striker Ian Wright backing Sir Alex to "sort out sulky Berba" in The Sun and tipping Carlos Tevez to keep his place in the United team despite the increased competition. "Tevez should play no matter what. He's industrious, he works defenders, he makes chances and he's the type of player who lifts the fans."

Daily Mail journalist Ian Ladyman compares United's new signing to a Reds legend: "Berbatov swagger has echoes of Cantona: Fergie's £30m man is art-loving loner" with "a dislike of alcohol but a weakness for the odd cigarette." In the same article, ex-Spurs boss David Pleat says of Berbatov: "He is a talent, a player of deft touches and intelligence. It will be utterly fascinating to see how Alex Ferguson utilises him."

Bought my laptop. Toshiba L305 s5873 for 650.
Manchester City has a bad habit of whipping us in Derbies. I do not look forward to facing them with better players now.

Just because they won both last time doesn't mean anything. Historically United have won much more.

Well I have only watched the EPL for 2 1/2 seasons now remember? I know statistically we have won more derbies, but our team now is supposed to be the dream team that is leaps better than the 99 team.
I really like this laptop, it is a cross upgrade from my pc being a little better for relatively cheap.

I think you can stop with the sign offs. If anyone isn't calling you Aaron by now I doubt they will ever remember to, sorry.

Pompey is getting no luck when it comes to injuries. Kanu, Little, Nugent, Kranjcar and now Jerome Thomas, who PFC just got at the beginning of the season, is out too. Basically, most of Portsmouth's midfield and an experienced striker. This sucks...

Rangers have had an interest in him for awhile and after picking up Crouch, Kaboul then Traoue, Redknapp needed to "balance the books," I guess selling Muntari to Inter Milan wasn't enough. It wasn't such a great decision considering the way Mendes played against ManU in the Community Shield game and now more so with Kranjcar out...
