Impulse /shocker solenoid?

Just learned both use the same noid? Did impulses only come with humphrey or parker? Ive got some old impulses laying around and need to know what kind they are and how i can put upperboards on em for my shocker projects instead of buying new ones.

Thanks

the noids are black and silver if that helps any i can never remember which is which lol. the noid wires are soldered/epoxied in so im thinking they are parker noids since humphreys have the quick disconnect. lmk if im wrong!

Yeah, if they're black and have the wires soldered directly on then they're Parker solenoids. Basically all you need to do is remove the current wiring, and stick on a Parker upper to use in a Shocker. I believe the Parker uppers use fairly thick wire as the contact points to be soldered, which gives it the rigidity to hold against the body of the solenoid, but as long as you can make that connection and get it to fit in the Shocker body, I'd say your fine.

I believe they just hook the shocker noid into the ego board.... (most noids are the same nowadays) and possibly drill a new hole in the EGO frame... its more for guys who like having a screen/ or prefer the ego ergonomics... but they look so good

Yeah, you basically just mill/dremel out the top of the Ego frame to fit the Shocker solenoid, and solder the ego solenoid connector wires to the solenoid.

Noids are parker skinner k4h01, still could be found from the manufacturer or their distributors. Its a 4 way.
