I would just like to point out that Peyton Manning still leads the league in interceptions.

And I'd like to point out that Matt Ryan deflowered the scamthers.

As a lifelong die-hard Packers fan (I think that's mandatory if you grow up in Wisconsin!), I have to say that the Pack doesn't look like a playoff team, much less a Super Bowl team. They're going to have to get it together VERY quickly or they're going to be stomped in playoff game #1. Problem is that I don't think they've got the depth at this point to do it. The offensive line has collapsed. The receiver group is being asked to perform two steps above their abilities - Randall Cobb is not Jordy Nelson, and none of the lower tier receivers are Randall Cobb. The running game is unreliable. And the defense, while having some shining moments, isn't consistent.

But hey, Tim Masthey pulled off a respectable fake punt. That was nice to see. When the team gets a little creative, things can be interesting. When the team gets stupid (onside kick early in the second half, spiking the ball after a first down reception), it puts them exactly where they're deserving to be this year.

My wife was born in and grew up a Wisconsin yankee. Anytime we watch foosball at the inlaws, it's all about the Packers. I always look forward to when her relatives send down curds from Kugel's. We don't have Kugel's down here in Dixie lol.

Vikings lose in Lambeau this weekend so they can travel to Washington, sending Seattle to Green Bay.

This ***** had nothing to say about the Falcons for weeks on end. Suddenly they hand a loss to an undefeated team and the Falcons are all the rage.

Happy .... But not. They gave up so much. Could have had Kuechly, Alston Jeffery, Kyle Long, and Sheldon Richardson.

Thats actually pretty accurate. He went to Switzerland to have stem cell treatment done in 2011. Nobody is sure if it helped at all, but he did have it done.

Eh, it is what it is. At the time, it seemed like the right thing to do. The Redskins were desperate for a franchise QB. Shanahan backed himself in to a corner, first with McNabb and then with the Grossman/Beck tandem.

And honestly, there's the slimmest of margins that Shanny would have drafted any of those players.

I mean, you can do this all day with any sport. In 2009 the Washington Nationals had the number 1 and number 10 pick (compensation for not signing Aaron Crow the year before) in the draft. They took Strasburg number 1. They took Drew Storen at number 10.

Mike Trout when to the Angels with the 25th pick.

The Nationals could have had Mike Trout and Bryce Harper in the same outfield.

So, here's an interesting Packers thought - might it be better to start everyone who normally barely suits up, the bottom rungs of the roster, take a loss this weekend, and look to drawing something easy for Round 1 of the playoffs? I'm not even sure if that's legal, illegal, whatever by NFL rules, but there's not much point in starting the normal starters and risking what's left of their health.
