I love watching the Red Wings play but hockey will never beat the NFL. They ain't even close to MLB's level.

I expect a better team effort in game 2.

Bench was non factor, shump was quiet, and we still had a good chance to steal one from the best home team in the NBA. The Irving injury definitely concerns me, but he's been a non factor for most of the playoffs anyways. Make the appropriate adjustments and take game 2 in Oakland, and we'll be in good shape.

jr smith needs to slow his role when he gets cold and the 2 other bench guys have to absolutely contribute in SOME way. also, tristan needs to get involved offensively.

in the last thread i find it humorous that the blackhawks fan says people care about hockey. they have one of the most piss fan bases in sports, you wouldnt even know the hawks existed like 5 years ago. god awful **** fgt fans and that is the worst part about that team.

also, michigan is a total joke

better chance of OSU repeating than michigan getting to .500

has there been a recent team that returned as many starters as OSU after winning a championship? it definitely is very unlikely they repeat but they should be heavy favorites at this point. only games i am worried about on their schedule are VT and MSU

That's pretty much how I feel exactly.

Our bench had almost zero contribution, and outside of Mofgoff and Irving, neither did the rest of the team outside Lebron. I don't expect the Cavs to have the same effort in Game 2. That being said, if Irving really is out then that puts a lot of pressure on the role players to step up in a big way. It's going to be tough for sure.

This is certainly true, but we'll be better talent-wise as well. We had a very young team last year and exceeded everyone's expectations, but now we've been to the top and are experienced; it's not outlandish to predict an OSU-repeat scenario.

bama got outplayed hard that game, overlooked or not. the only reason they were in that game at all was OSU going full retard and doing stupid ****, which is expected with such a young team that is totally green at its most important position.

ill be honest, the teams i am worried about the most are not from the SEC next season. Minn could steal one, MSU scares me and VT should be MUCH better this season (although i think urban is gonna step on that throat early and not let up). in the post season i am concerned with USC, TCU and i guess bama from the SEC. i should be more nervous but i really do not see anyone actually worth a **** in the SEC outside of alabama (obviously WAY to early to make a judgement).

lololol no.

20,000+ are filling the stadiums for 162 games a year. The average is probably more than that though. I remember Texas was putting 35,000-40,000+ almost every night a few years ago IIRC. Haven't looked at that stat though. But then there's teams like the Rays and A's who's fanbase sucks so it brings the average down.
