i dont have the opportunity to shoot a BL marq. i wonder how it is compare with a DM7-8 with kick and sound. i am interested in one of these, im no asking which one is better than other, just to know about the kick and sound.

Kick, the same roughly. They are very similar, the Marq 7 has a better frame and reg placement. The Marq has kick after the shot it seams like.

Once you break it in and make sure your pressures are set properly with the pressure tester, I would say it kicks about the same as a DM and may have a bit more noise to it but not much at all. It definitely sounds like a spool valve despite being an inline poppet design.

My Darq is just as quiet as my DM8 was, and I would say the kick was nearly identical (in both cases virtually no kick at all).
