Pmr Se Rollback Problem

Hey Guys,

I just watched a video about someone having a problem
with their pmr, they tested the RollBack with the gun
not aired up and with the UL Frame on.

Test: Turn gun on, ul frame lights red, put paintball in breach
light turns green, tilt gun up towards the sky and light
turns red. Obviously indicating that there is to much
room between the eyes and the bolt.

So i never thought i had that problem, but i just recently
put on the ul frame and i do have eye problems.
so i tested this out and i do in fact have this RollBack
problem.

Now How can i go about fixing this?
is it normal to have this problem with out the gun being
aired up? or is it a huge problem that needs to be fixed?

Any Help Is Awesome. Thanks Guys!

Call Dye about it. You need a new bolt.

is because my eyes were acting up after shooting a half
a case. why would i have a RollBack now but not before?

Could Anyone Help Me Out?

You may have always had rollback, and just never noticed it.

Drop a ball in your breach, tilt your marker back and see if the ball rolls.

If it does, you have rollback, if it doesn't, there is a different issue.

Yes i have the roll back, but does
it matter that's its not aired up?

Or it only matters if your gun is
aired up.

it should not really matter if your gun is aired up but you may want to test it just to be sure...

and putting on the UL frame would have had nothing to do with your bolt assembly...

is this issue causing you chops at high rates of fire? are you sure your eyes are seated correctly behind the eye covers?

good luck with it

That's a really good point (faith-a-lone) about
the eyes being set the correct way..

the left eye is flush against the metal when i open
my eye plate, and when i look in the breach it sticks
out a lot.

my right eye is NOT flush against the metal when i open
my eye plate, and it does not stick out at all when i look
down into the breach.

But there's no way for me to make
my right eye flush against the metal because the bulb of
the eye is a little more thicker and its not enough to become
flush.

But even though one eye sticks out more when i look in the
breach the eyes still see each other. and that doesn't
effect the roll back problem because theres still too much
room between the eyes and bolt.

Anything Guys?

No! You don't need a new bolt (LOL). I've had this problem before with my PMR. Exact same thing - eyes turn red when the ball rolls back. I compared the roll back with another PMR and it's normal. I changed the eyes and the problem is fixed.

If ur gun is still under warranty (6 months), Dye will replace the eyes for free. If not, get Virtue ($25) lifetime warranty.
