Fitting DM Bolt parts

So wanted to upgrade the PM6 I put together from spare parts/ebay stuff. After searching and reading on here, all the information pointed to DM8-12 bolts would work and DM6-12 tophats are the same. I found a DM11 bolt and a DM10 back cap I thought would fit with the tophat I have but the bolt is too long. Does anyone know what year the DM bolt length changed? Seller said the bolt was 11 and it has a soft tip.

PM6 stock bolt top and DM11 soft tip (I think) bottom

Full PM6 Stock bolt top, DM11 bolt, DM6 tophat and DM10 backcap

The bolt I got for under $10 so it not a big deal if I can't use it. Since I didn't have to spend alot to put this together I could drop extra money on a Billywing Bolt for a PM8 that will fit.

DM7/8 bolts are the same (cans may be different). DM9-11 are the same. DM12/13 are the same. Those 3 groups are not interchangeable. The only DM bolt that will fit a PM that I'm aware of is the DM9-11 in a PM8...

Yup all that sounds right. Just not sure this is an 11 bolt since the back cap doesn't meet the tophat. Only thing I can think of is if the dm11 back cap is longer but I don't think it is.

edit:
Actually looking back over my info this is what I found on other threads (info people have said they got from dye techs, fwiw) about specific bolt parts:

Top Hats:
DM 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and PM8 all have the same top hat.

Bolt cans:
DM 4 ,5, 6, 7, PM5, 6, 7

But I couldn't find info on bolt lengths for the different years. I know DM8 & 9 = PM7/8 length but no info on 10-12

DM11 bolt assembly is interchangeable with DM9-10. I've swapped them before including bolt cap so DM9-11 Bolt Caps are the same. You probably have a DM12/13 bolt. I can measure both stock and BW bolts tonight for you.

That would be awesome Grimbot. I will be able to get rid of this bolt and get the proper one to finish this project and leave this info for someone else who may be looking. Although, that might be more trouble since I will just start another project.

Per the pm6 manual it uses a "Short" bolt with 009 orings on the tail. This makes it incompatible with any DM model.

I think its "Possible" you could get a :

Pm6 can

Dm6,7,8,9,10,11,14,15, PM8 (NOT 12 or 13) tophat

Dm9-11, Pm8 bolt

pm8 backcap

to work for what you are doing. but if any of the above don't thread together you are sunk.

Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my DM6 as well and I was told it COULD be the bolt. It is sticking a bit and I'm getting some decent leakage down the barrel, resulting in low/zero velocity. I bought the gun as 'broken' on ebay for $70 so I'm cool with putting some money into it. Any ideas? And if it is the bolt, what replacement bolts are out there? Im really new to DMs so im pretty noob.

its probably just the inner can/tophat orings...
i'd replace the entire bolt system orings to start.
then service both regs.
