I have been told by professional players that the NXL was only taking the top 8 or 10 to world cup so the bottom few would be left at home for the last event. Chris can you confirm this? If so is it the top 8 or 10?

Rank - Team Name - Totals
01 - Dynasty - 240
02 - Ironmen - 235
03 - Legion - 210
04 - X-Factor - 205
05 - Americans - 195
06 - Infamous - 185
07 - Damage - 160
08 - N. Dogs - 150
09 - Aftermath - 140
10 - Impact - 135
11 - Aftershock - 60
12 - Avalanche - DQ

The Top 5 teams will get a first round BYE. (Dynasty, Ironmen, Legion, X-Factor, and Americans)

The remaining 6 teams (Avalanche out) will compete for the last 3 spots via a round robin format. From there,

The game style will switch to a 'Best of 3' format, where the Top 8 will become the Top 4, then Top 2, then the winner of World Cup is crowned.

Pictures will be taken, Trophies will be handed out, and I will recover from a hangover...

So if they do do it this way, we already know that Xfactor will play the Americans in the top 8 right? 1v8 2v7 3v6 and then 4(factor) vs 5(americans)?
